What is AIESEC?
With locals in over 100 countries around the world, AIESEC Calgary has plenty to offer. As an international student organization, AIESEC promotes global understanding through international exchange. By attending conferences and participating in the everyday tasks of the local, our students have the opportunity to develop their professional skills and develop an international perspective while making many memorable friends and memories. In short, AIESEC is the international platform for youth to explore and develop their leadership capabilities.

What does "AIESEC" stand for?
"AIESEC" was formerly a French acronym for "Association Internationale des Etudiants en Sciences Economiques et Commerciales” which translates to the International Association of Students in Economics and Commercial Sciences. Today, however, the acronym is still used but the meaning has changed, as our membership has grown to encompass a much wider range of disciplines than only economics and commerce.

Definitely! AIESEC Calgary is made up of a pool of talented multi-disciplinary students. In fact, there are opportunities available to students from any faculty.
