A Message from AIESEC Canada

It has been a fantastic six months for AIESEC Canada. We have run multiple conferences (NAFTA Conference), gained media exposure for the skills we develop in students (Globe and Mail), launched an alumni blog (AIESEC Stories) and have achieved 215 exchanges since the beginning of our term! While we are very proud of what we have done, we know that AIESEC Canada has the potential to do much more.

We have big ambition and are aiming for record results this year and to do this we will need your help! Please help us to promote AIESEC as an organization that develops leaders and delivers life-changing experiences for students in Canada and abroad. You are living proof!

We hope to see you at alumni events, Board of Advisors meetings, review boards, marketing calls, and engaging with us online!

Sincerely,

The AIESEC Canada Member Committee

AIESEC Canada Needs YOU!

AIESEC Canada wants stand out in the global network and do what has never been done before. In order to do that, we need your help!

The following are some initiatives that you can directly contribute to as alumni:

Global Internship Program and the IT Sector

  • Identified as a highly relevant sector for our internship program, we are looking for alumni in this industry to provide AIESEC Canada with insight on IT trends, connections into the industry and ways that AIESEC can capitalize on them. If you want to contribute email Mark at markz@aiesec.ca

Membership Skills Development

  • AIESEC Canada is determined to develop our members into global leaders. At conferences and local meetings, we often invite alumni to speak about their experiences and teach a new skill. If you would like to participate in the alumni workshops at National Congress 2012 in Montreal on January 2, 2012, please email Cassandra at cassandrar@aiesec.ca

Exchange Initiative Fund

  • AIESEC Canada wants to invest in our members to go abroad and make an impact. We also want to bring international AIESECers to Canada in order to talk to Canadian students and recruit them to go on exchange to their country. To donate to this initiative, please visit: http://bit.ly/sEnvGC
