AIESEC Guelph: Most Improved Local Committee!
AIESEC Guelph attended the AIESEC Canada's National Congress in Quebec City from December 30th to January 3rd, 2010. We sent a 9-member delegation, who participated in full days of sessions, trainings and simulations, but also represented Guelph well in the parties at night. At the end of the conference, a final banquet was held where National Awards were given out. AIESEC Guelph won one of the most prestigious awards of the night: Most Improved Local Committee.
Prior to the National Congress conference, rumours had it that AIESEC Guelph wasdetermined to prove that they could compete with the larger Local AIESEC Committees in the country despite competition coming from far large cities like Vancouver, Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto. The results of this year's National Congress goes to show that our hard work, determination and commitment to results continue to help us rise to the top!
Congrats AIESEC Guelph for being a leader in the Ontario-Atlantic region, and #7 in the country!
