AIESEC is the largest student run organization in the world, extending over 1100 universities in 110 different countries.
Providing a global learning environment to over 60 000 of its members, AIESEC utilizes its vast and intricate network to create numerousleadership opportunities and internships for university students around the world. At a national level, AIESEC Canada is represented through 28 local committees across 28 different campuses, with AIESEC Toronto proudly being this year’s winner of the Best Financially Sustainable Local Committee award.
AIESEC Toronto has changed the lives of 43 students who were sent on exchange last year, and is setting the bar even higher for 2012-2013. Through providing leadership opportunities and international internships our members have the opportunity to develop their personal and professional skills, network with alumni and business partners, and learn what it truly means to be a global citizen.

Mission: To spread awareness about the environment and to spur green innovation amongst the most talented youth in China by delivering an unlimited green entrepreneurship learning experience.

India:
Issues: Finance / Budgeting / Accounting / Rural development
Duration: 6-8 weeks
Mission: To develop and deliver an effective and sustainable financial services model including credit, savings, insurance and fund transfers that will empower locals and give them access to capital they need to help them out of poverty.
Issues: Children rights, child labors, street children, slums
Duration: 6-8 weeks
Mission: To spread awareness about children’s rights and to bring smiles and happiness to the lives of street children and orphans through nurture, education and love.
Duration: 6 weeks
Summary: Interns will be working at the Debrecen Refugee camp helping the social workers in the community building on site where there are a variety of activities for the children and the adults on a daily basis.
